SA History Festival

Barossa Farmers Market Walking Tour

As part of the 2019 South Australian Historical Festival, we’ve partnered with the Barossa Farmers Market to host two special Farmers Market Walking Tours.

These two tours will be offered on Saturday 18th and 25th May, and will focus on the fascinating and rare food culture of the Barossa - one of the few truly distinctive regional food cultures in Australia. We will explore our region’s early European settlement and the impact that these frugal and talented butchers, bakers, cheese (and wine!) makers continue to have on our delicious region today.

We look forward to walking - and eating! - with you as part of the SA History Festival!
